The Salt & Sea is a vision by Gene Rogovitz, meant to capture the essence of the ocean and its many counterparts. Inspired by a variety of salt-aged goodness that lives and thrives amongst the sea. With over 25 years surfing both locally on Long Island, New York and many locations worldwide, he draws from this major influence in his life.
Previously a founding partner of Metalbox Design Group, Gene has now ventured off on his own and all of his past and present work is available right here at thesaltandsea.com.
My goal is to continue to make work that I enjoy creating and putting it out there for those who enjoy the outcome. Maybe even inspire some to see that the process is sometimes more important then the end result.
